MOVIE NIGHTS 

An opportunity for you to see the original version of German movies. The movies have subtitles in English so that anybody can enjoy them. No registration required.

STAMMTISCH 

The Stammtisch is our monthly “get-together” where our members socialize and stay-in-touch. We have now partnered with the Meetup Group "Deutsch Sprechende in Halifax / German Speakers in Halifax" to hold the Stammtisch.

There is a Stammtisch in Halifax at the Lower Deck in Clayton Park at 7pm on the last Wednesday of every month. 

There is an Elmsdale Stammtisch in Enfield at Curly Portables at 7pm on the fourth Thursday of every month.

HALIFAX OKTOBERFEST

The Halifax Oktoberfest is a yearly celebration of German heritage organized by Garrison Brewing and the German Canadian Association of Nova Scotia (GCA). Launched in 2009, ‘HFX Oktoberfest’ attracts thousands of locals and visitors alike to the historic Seaport District, while raising money for the Halifax & Region Military Family Resource Centre (MFRC) and the GCA.
